How the links work

Every product link on this site goes through a redirect on our own domain (a path starting with /go/) before it reaches the manufacturer. That lets us fix a dead link in one place and, where a manufacturer runs an affiliate program that has accepted us, attach our tracking. Not every link pays. A link to a manufacturer without an affiliate arrangement earns nothing, and which links pay can change without notice. All of them are marked as sponsored links.

What it does not change

Commission does not decide which machines we cover, the order of a comparison or what we say about a machine. Comparisons are ordered by price, lowest first. We do not accept payment for placement, and we do not let makers review what we write about them. We have not received free machines from makers. If that changes, we will say so on the page.

How we pick, and what that does not include

Our guides come from manufacturer pages, published regulations, safety authorities and a small number of independent articles. We do not physically test the machines we link to, and we do not publish ratings or review scores that would imply we had. Where something could not be verified against a primary source, the page says so. Prices and specs change without notice; each figure is dated, and we correct pages when they are wrong.
