About Handheld Laser Guide
Handheld laser welders and laser rust removal machines went from trade-show curiosity to online checkout in a couple of years. The buying advice did not keep up. Most of it comes from sellers, and much of it reads like the product page with the adjectives turned up.
Handheld Laser Guide does something simpler. We read each maker's own pages, the federal regulations, the safety authorities and the few independent sources that exist. Then we write down the prices, the claims and the places where those sources disagree. Every guide ends with a list of what we could not verify.
Who writes this
Handheld Laser Guide is written and edited by Stefan Florin, who publishes it through Digipeak Media in Sweden. Stefan runs several independent affiliate and content sites and works as an automation consultant. He is not a welder, a laser safety officer or an engineer, and the site does not pretend he is. That is why it cites the people who are.
What we do not do
- We do not test machines, and we do not publish scores that imply we did.
- We do not give safety training. See the safety guide for pointers to those who do.
- We do not sell machines. Links go to the makers.
